Two arrested after Dublin robbery
18/03/2005 - 10:34:28Gardaí in Dublin have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery in the Castleknock area of the city early this morning.
The men are being questioned about the theft of a large sum of money from another man who was confronted by two armed raiders near his home in Georgian View.
Gardaí were alerted to the robbery and followed the raiders' getaway car, which was also being monitored by the garda helicopter.
Two men in their 20s were eventually arrested in the Kilshane area and taken to Blanchardstown garda station, where they can be held for 72 hours before being released or charged.
