Teenager injured in Dublin shooting
18/03/2005 - 09:41:02Gardaí are investigating an incident in Dublin this morning during which a 17-year-old youth suffered a gunshot wound to his leg.
The incident happened in the Edenmore area of Coolock shortly before 4am.
Two masked men armed with a shotgun broke down the door of a house and confronted the people inside.
They fired one shot into a ceiling, while a second hit the 17-year-old victim in the leg.
He was taken to nearby Beaumont Hospital where his condition is not life-threatening.
