3,000 to take part in Dublin parade
17/03/2005 - 10:59:45More than 3,000 people are expected to take part in today's Saint Patrick's Parade through the streets of Dublin.
Seventeen international marching bands and ten theatrical pageants from all over the country will provide the pomp, drama and colour.
In recognition of their response to the Asia tsumani, representatives from the four leading Irish aid agencies - the Red Cross, Concern, Trocaire and GOAL - will act as Grand Marshals.
