Tipp's Browne ruled out of League
16/03/2005 - 08:37:19Tipperary football has been dealt a blow with the news that All Star attacking ace Declan Browne will miss the remaining rounds of the National Football League.
The All Star touring captain picked up a hip injury during the league clash against Louth and retired before the break.
His loss comes as a huge blow to manager Seamus McCarthy, who is now deprived of the side's main scoring threat. Tipperary are already in hot water in the league - McCarthy's charges have yet to register a win.
