Stallone: Brigitte saved my life
15/03/2005 - 09:26:55Hollywood hardman Sylvester Stallone dodged death when former love Brigitte Nielsen rushed him to hospital with seconds to spare.
Fears were sparked when the action star turned grey after a fight scene with Dolph Lundgren during filming for Rocky IV in 1984 - the Swede had inadvertently caused genuine damage with his punches.
Stallone recalls: "I told (Nielsen) I was just exhausted but she said: 'No, now you're turning blue.'
"She talked me into going into hospital. She saved my life, though I've never said it to anyone.
