Jolie: Bono's no World Bank boss
15/03/2005 - 10:55:14Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie is opposed to the idea of Bono becoming the new World Bank boss - she is championing former US Secretary of State Colin Powell instead.
The Lara Croft: Tomb Raider actress, who recently visited Washington DC as a goodwill ambassador for the UN, is a big fan of the U2 frontman, but she thinks Powell's experience makes him the perfect candidate.
Jolie, 29, says: "I've met Bono and I think he's a great guy, but my choice for the World Bank would be Colin Powell."
