Manager leaves Dundee United
14/03/2005 - 11:16:29Dundee United have parted company with manager Ian McCall.
Tannadice chairman Eddie Thompson met with board members on Sunday to discuss McCall’s position after the 3-0 defeat at Kilmarnock left the club one point adrift at the foot of the Bank of Scotland Premier League table.
Now McCall has paid a heavy price after three successive SPL defeats.
Thompson said: “I find this an extremely sad day as Ian was well respected at this club.
“I and my board wish him well for the future.”
