Macken targets quick return
14/03/2005 - 09:39:44Manchester City striker Jon Macken is hoping to return to the squad on Saturday to face Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
It will be Stuart Pearce’s first match as caretaker manager and Macken is keen to be involved following a two-match absence with a hamstring injury.
“I have been out running and kicking a ball so hopefully I will be back for the next game,” he told the club’s official website, www.mcfc.co.uk.
“It was disappointing to get injured but it is not as bad as was first thought.”
