Celtic moved to within a point and four goals of Bank of Scotland Premier League leaders Rangers with a six-goal thrashing of Dunfermline.

The Hoops had seemed lethargic after John Hartson had given them a ninth-minute lead.

But, after the interval, Aiden McGeady struck before Hartson claimed his second of the day.

Stilian Petrov scored twice in three minutes before substitute Craig Beattie slashed Rangers’ goal difference advantage at the top of the table.
