Ambobo out of Cheltenham
12/03/2005 - 12:56:43Ambobo, favourite for the Royal & SunAlliance Novices´ Hurdle, has been ruled out of the Cheltenham Festival after suffering a setback.
The five-year-old was yesterday one of 38 confirmed for Wednesday’s Grade One contest but was today declared a non-runner due a leg problem.
The news will come as bitter blow to ante-post punters, who have seen leading candidates Best Mate, Ollie Magern and Kato Star ruled out of the meeting in recent weeks.
