Road accidents claiming one life a day
11/03/2005 - 10:33:13Accidents on Ireland's roads are claiming more than one life every day, according to figures released today by the National Safety Council.
The council said 80 people had died in road accidents so far this year, compared to 76 in the same period last year.
Six people have been killed on Irish roads in the last seven days and nine so far in the month of March.
