Microsoft confirms R&D plans for Dublin
10/03/2005 - 16:48:53Microsoft has confirmed plans for a Research and Development centre at its Sandyford Headquarters in Dublin.
The next generation of the Windows operating system will be developed there as well as its digital terrestrial TV project for Europe, creating 100 new jobs.
The company currently employs 1,200 people at the plant, which has been in operation for 20 years.
