Intel and SAP announce deal on RFID

SAP AG and Intel today announced a joint effort that aims to make radio frequency identification (RFID) technology easier to use.

Intel is the world's largest chip maker and is also a leading manufacturer of computer, networking and communications products.

SAP is a leading provider of business software solutions.

The announcement was made at CeBIT, the world's largest IT trade fair, being held at Hanover, Germany today.
