Friends First wins Property investment award
10/03/2005 - 16:39:47Friends First has been awarded the Property Investment Company of the Year Award at the 12th Moneymate and Investor Magazine Awards held today at the Burlington Hotel.
The Friends First / F&C Property Fund was the best performing fund over a three, five and 10-year period, according to the 2004 Pension Property Survey.
In recent years, Friends First has increased its property assets under management from €250m in 1999 to €740m in 2004 with a further €270m in indirect property exposure through one of the specialist funds, the Insight Property Fund 2.
In 2004, Friends First attracted over €60m in equity into its Irish, UK and continental European property fund offerings.
