Airliner makes emergency landing in Budapest

An easyJet airliner with 105 passengers on board made an emergency landing at Budapest’s international airport today. No injuries were reported.

The budget airline flight to the Hungarian capital requested an emergency landing after the aircraft’s instruments signalled a technical malfunction, state news agency MTI reported.

Firefighters rushed to the plane, which touched down smoothly, Budapest Airport spokeswoman Ibolya Forika said.
