Unexploded mine discovered off Waterford

An unexploded World War II mine has been discovered off the coast of Co Waterford.

The device was located around two-and-a-half miles south-east of Helvick Head, at a depth of 32 metres.

The mine is due to be moved to shallow waters before being detonated by bomb disposal experts.
