Provincial stars pick up 2004 awards
Three of the players involved in next week's AIB All-Ireland Club finals picked up Provincial Player awards in Dublin yesterday.
Laois supremo Colm Parkinson, James Stephens' Eoin Larkin and Athenry's Joe Rabbitte were all honoured for their roles in helping their clubs to provincial honours in 2004.
Other winners included Mount Sion and Waterford All Star Ken McGrath and Kilmurry-Ibrickane's John Daly.
The winners are chosen by GAA media, based on their performances in the 2004 provincial club championship campaigns.
