McCartney family frustrated with murder probe progress

The sisters of Belfast man Robert McCartney have said it is becoming frustrating that nothing is happening in relation to the investigation into his murder.

Mr McCartney's sisters have said they will be calling on President Bush to use his influence to bring those responsible for the murder to justice.

The family is expected to be invited to celebrate St Patrick's Day at the White House.

Speaking after a meeting with TDs and Senators in Leinster House, Catherine McCartney spoke of her frustration.

“At the campaign level everything is going very well but on the ground where it really matters there is nothing happing at all," she said.
