Griffith's mystery ankle injury
06/03/2005 - 14:16:53Melanie Griffith arrived at last Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony with her left ankle in plaster and reportedly joked she suffered the injury during a passionate sex session.
But husband Antonio Banderas, who supported the Working Girl star up the red carpet, insisted she was joking because she hurt herself at an airport.
A source tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Melanie saucily says she damaged her ankle during a wild bedroom session. But an indignant Antonio then insisted it was nothing to do with him and she had actually injured it getting off a plane."
