All-clear for Doncaster
05/03/2005 - 08:49:15Racing at Doncaster goes ahead this afternoon after a planned early-morning inspection was cancelled.
Officials had called a precautionary 7.15am check but clerk of the course Jon Pullin said: “Racing goes ahead. We got down to minus one overnight with just a light frost and temperatures are up to plus one already.
“There are no problems and the ground is good.”
Today’s other meetings are at Newbury, Kelso and Huntingdon, all of which go ahead with no reported problems.
