Gardaí seize €100k worth of heroin
05/03/2005 - 20:02:19€100,000 worth of heroin has been seized in a search of a house in County Wicklow.
The drugs were found during a search in Greystones and a man in his 30s was arrested at the scene.
He's being held at Bray Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
It's the third major drugs seizure in the past 24 hours.
Half a million euro worth of cocaine was found when a house was raided in the Drimnagh area of Dublin last night.
And over a quarter of a million euro worth of base amphetamines were recovered in Athlone.
