TCH appoints new CEO at Irish Post

Leading Irish media group Thomas Crosbie Holdings today appointed David O'Sullivan as chief executive officer (CEO) of The Irish Post newspaper.

The Irish Post is an important voice and source of information for the Irish community in Britain.

Anthony Dinan, TCH group managing director, said: "We are delighted at the appointment as David has held senior management positions with us, most recently as Financial Controller at the Western People and his experience will add immensely to The Irish Post."

Mr O'Sullivan said: "I am looking forward to working with the excellent Irish Post staff in developing this great newspaper. Having lived in London for over five years previously, I will enjoy re-acquainting myself with the Irish community in Britain."

Mr O'Sullivan is a qualified accountant and a business graduate of the University of Limerick.

TCH owns 14 newspapers (the Irish Examiner, the Evening Echo, the Waterford News & Star, the Western People, the Sligo Weekender, The Kingdom, the Newry Democrat, the Down Democrat, the Nationalist and Leinster Times, the Kildare Nationalist, the Laois Nationalist, the Roscommon Herald, The Sunday Business Post, and The Irish Post).

It also has shares in radio stations Red FM and Mid West Radio and has a thriving electronic company Thomas Crosbie Media which also owns Breakingnews.ie, Motornet.ie and Recruit Ireland.com.
