Snow hits Wetherby meet
02/03/2005 - 09:50:29This afternoon's meeting at Wetherby has been abandoned due to snow.
After further snowfall, Sanderson was forced to call the meeting off.
“We have had to abandon as it is still snowing and it keeps laying,” he said.
“The Met Office has said that it will continue to snow for the next couple of hours and while the sun may come out after that, we can expect further showers through the day.
“On the basis of that we had no option but to call it off.”
