Folkestone meeting falls victim to weather
02/03/2005 - 07:47:17Today’s meeting at Folkestone has been abandoned due to waterlogging and snow.
Clerk of the course Chris Stickels was due to hold a 7.30am inspection but overnight rain and snow has forced him to call off the meeting early.
“We had 13 millimetres of rain overnight which has caused some waterlogging and now there is snow on the track so we have had to abandon,” he explained.
