Ireland not prepared for potential ‘flu pandemic
02/03/2005 - 08:16:35Ireland is reportedly among the least-prepared countries in Europe to combat a potential influenza pandemic.
Reports this morning said the Department of Health had still not made any arrangements to buy drugs to combat any future pandemic.
The department has reportedly blamed hospital consultants for the matter due to their boycott of a committee set up to review Ireland’s preparedness.
