Moss dumped Doherty over daughter fears
02/03/2005 - 14:19:59Kate Moss jettisoned her fledgling romance with troubled British rocker Pete Doherty because she knew he wouldn't be good for her daughter Lila.
Douglas Hack, father of the supermodel's ex-boyfriend and father of her child Jefferson, asserts he would never have allowed the former-Libertine, famed for his drug addictions, close to his granddaughter.
Douglas says: "Kate had one evening with Pete at her birthday party in the Cotswolds (England), but she would never have let him near her two-year-old daughter, Lila.
"Jefferson would be down on Kate like a ton of bricks if she was dating Pete and it affected their daughter. So would his mother Teresa and I."
