Murtagh still a Stoute possible
01/03/2005 - 08:56:58Johnny Murtagh has yet to rule out the possibility that he may fill the vacant stable jockey position with Michael Stoute.
The Irishman is one of a number of names touted as a possible replacement for Kieren Fallon, who has joined the mighty Ballydoyle empire.
“After reading the papers for the last two weeks I am not counting myself as a contender for any job until I hear from the people involved,” he told the Racing Post.
“I’d obviously sit down and talk to anyone who wants my services but until they ring me and I hear from them, I’ve nothing else to say.”
