Martin vows to implement action plan recommendations

Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Micheál Martin has vowed to implement most of the recommendations contained in a new action plan drawn by his department's Enterprise Strategy Group.

The plan makes 51 recommendations on how to make Irish companies more productive and prosperous, including the "internationalisation" of such companies and the development of the FÁS graduate programme.

Announcing details of the plan today, Mr Martin promised to fully or partially implement all but two of the recommendations.
