Williams plans new Oscar 'pageant' plan
16/02/2005 - 15:45:26Robin Williams has slammed Oscar organisers for introducing a new ceremony rule that involves having all category nominees onstage as the winner is announced, warning it will be like an awkward beauty pageant.
The comic, a previous Oscar winner, feels the idea will make the awards show even more excruciating for stars that don't win.
He says: "It's like Miss America…to have them all up there is like a reality show gone berserk."
