Gardaí have arrested two men in their 30s following the seizure of a large quantity of the hallucinogenic drug LSD at Dublin Port yesterday.

Gardaí said the drugs had a street value of €650,000 and were seized along with a firearm.

Reports this morning said the two men in custody were both English nationals and the drugs were believed to be destined for a Limerick criminal gang.
