Taoiseach to visit Bulgaria and Poland in next few days
11/02/2005 - 13:23:29The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is due to visit Bulgaria and Poland over the next few days to discuss EU political issues.
Mr Ahern is due to meet his Bulgarian counterpart in Sofia later today to discuss how Ireland can assist the country's application for membership of the European Union.
He will then travel on Poland over the weekend to receive an award from the Polish Business Centre Club in recognition of the Irish assistance given to the Poles prior to their entry to the EU last May.
