Doherty 'doing well' in rehab
Troubled rocker Pete Doherty is "doing really well" in rehabilitation as he attempts to conquer his heroin addiction, according to the former Libertine star's manager.
The 25-year-old singer checked straight into a secret London rehab clinic after his release from the British capital's Pentonville Prison on Tuesday.
Doherty, who has been dating supermodel Kate Moss for nearly a month, spent six days behind bars after he was arrested on assault and blackmail charges on February 2.
His manager James Mullord says: "Pete has not got any heroin in his system. It is the first time in a long time he has not got any drugs in his body.
"It must be at least a year since he has been clean. He is doing really well and is very positive about the treatment. He's looking good. It has been a good eight days since he's had drugs of any kind.
"Pete has spoken to Kate on the phone. There has been a lot of pressure on her in recent weeks. However, they are still very much together."
