Manufacturing production down Oct-Dec

Industrial production for manufacturing industries for the three-month period October to December 2004 was down 0.2% on the preceding three-month period, accordingt o figures released today by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The seasonally adjusted industrial turnover for manufacturing industries was 0.5% higher in the three month period October to December 2004 when compared with the preceding three-month period.

On an annual basis turnover in December 2004 was 6.3% higher than in December 2003.
