Carroll to run in European Indoor Championships
09/02/2005 - 17:32:47Irish athletics star Mark Carroll has made himself available for selection for next months European Indoor Championships in Madrid, Athletics Ireland revealed tonight.
Carroll, whose season best time of 7.46.60 is the second fastest of his career, won the 3,000m back in 2000, and will join Alistair Cragg on the team once his selection is confirmed next weekend.
The two Irish men are currently the two fastest over 3,000m in Europe for 2005.
