Ireland’s Chinese community welcomes Year of Rooster

Ireland's 40,000-strong Chinese community is celebrating the beginning of the Year of the Rooster today.

A week-long Chinatown Festival is taking place at Collins Barracks in Dublin to mark the lunar new year.

The Chinese-Ireland Information Centre has said it hopes the festival will be multi-cultural, with something for both Irish and Chinese people to enjoy.
