284 patients waiting on trollies this evening
09/02/2005 - 16:48:31284 people are waiting on trollies at Accident and Emergency departments across the country this evening.
Figures from the Irish Nurses Organisation show 149 people awaiting treatment in Dublin hospitals and 135 in other areas of the country.
The worst affected hospitals were Tallaght, the Mater, Beaumont and Naas hospitals.
