Nicholson in Irish role in Scorsese movie

The maker of Gangs of New York is about to feature another Irish 'hero' in his latest film.
Jack Nicholson will play a Boston-Irish gang boss in The Departed, co-starring Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Says Nicholson: "I won't have to act much in this role."
