Leeds complete Gray loan signing

03/02/2005 - 11:11:02
Leeds have completed the loan signing of Blackburn’s former England defender Michael Gray on a three-month deal.

The 30-year-old made his name at Sunderland where he played more than 400 games before switching to Blackburn in January 2004.

Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell has drafted in the left-back due to the long-term injury to Stephen Crainey, who is struggling with the pelvic condition Osteitis Pubis.

Blackwell has also confirmed he is hoping to bring in a striker to bolster his squad, but no agreement has yet been reached.
