BT signs £306m HR contract with Accenture
Telecoms giant BT has signed a £306m (€441m) contract for consultants Accenture to provide human resources services such as pensions and health and safety for its 100,000-strong workforce around the world, it was announced today.
The 10-year contract, one of the biggest of its kind, is aimed at transforming and expanding personnel services to BT employees in 38 countries.
Accenture will handle recruitment, pensions, payroll administration and health and safety under the deal, which takes effect from August.
Alex Wilson, BT’s human resources director, said: “This agreement will allow our staff to concentrate even more on the strategic role of HR management to our growing global business.
