45-year-old remanded after €120,000 drugs haul
29/01/2005 - 16:01:32A 45-year-old man has been remanded in custody at a special sitting of Naas District Court in connection with a drugs seizure valued at €120,000.
The man, from Limerick,, was charged with possession with intent to supply under Section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
He was detained at Ballymany in Newbridge on Thursday night following the search of a car by the Naas Drugs Unit, which yielded 13kg of cannabis resin.
The presiding judge deferred his decision on bail until Thursday, February 3.
