Gardaí seize 1,000 Ecstasy tablets
14/01/2005 - 21:52:31Gardaí tonight seized 1,000 Ecstasy tablets in the glove compartment of a car stopped in Co Kildare.
A garda spokesman said a “planned operation” netted the €10,000 drugs haul on Station Road, Newbridge.
Three men in their 20s were arrested by Newbridge Drugs Unit and are being held at Newbridge Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
Officers can detain the suspects for up to seven days without charge.
