Mellberg back for Villa
07/01/2005 - 13:33:34Aston Villa welcome back skipper Olof Mellberg from suspension for tomorrow’s FA Cup clash at Sheffield United.
Villa also hope to have striker Carlton Cole available for a recall after he missed the last two games with a knee injury suffered in training – but the game is set to come too soon for midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger, who has missed the last seven games with a thigh strain.
Striker Darius Vassell and central defender Martin Laursen remain long-term casualties with ankle and knee problems respectively.
