Meath's Kelly considering retirement?
07/01/2005 - 07:53:27Meath ace attacker Evan Kelly is believed to be strongly considering retirement.
Kelly has not yet trained with the Royal County and will not be considered for Sunday's O'Byrne Cup quarter-final against Kildare in Newbridge.
The Simonstown Gaels club man and two-time All-Ireland-winner has played senior inter-county football for 10 years, but has admitted he has lost interest.
Kelly said: "At the moment my appetite for inter-county football is nowhere near what it should be.
"I'll have to see over the next month or so if the appetite comes back. I'll take in a few of the National League games and see as a fan if I really want to be back out there on the pitch."
