Post offices accepting donations on behalf of aid agencies

Post offices throughout the country are accepting donations for the Asia Disaster Appeal from today on behalf of Ireland's leading aid agencies.

All the money collected will be split between Concern, Trócaire, GOAL, UNICEF and the Irish Red Cross.

An Post said no fees would being charged and 100% of the money lodged would go directly to the five organisations.
