Cruz laughs off insomnia reports
07/01/2005 - 11:11:44Spanish film siren Penelope Cruz has laughed off reports she is suffering from insomnia.
Last year gossip columnists alleged the Gothika actress was having problems sleeping, following the breakdown of her two-and-a-half year relationship with Tom Cruise in January, and had even sought medical tre atment to cure her.
Cruz explains: "No. that's not true at all. With all the hours I usually work, I get so tired that all I want to do is sleep as much as I can.
"It's true that I visited a clinic recently but just for a regular check-up. It just a routine thing, nothing more. I sleep 12 hours when I'm not shooting and it does wonders for me."
