Irish firm enjoying huge success with speed camera detector
07/01/2005 - 13:36:58A device made by an Irish company which tells motorists when they are approaching speed cameras has become one of the most in-demand products in France.
The GPS radar detector, made by Shannon-based company Inforad, uses satellite tracking to inform drivers when they are near a speed trap.
The company only launched the product last September, but has already sold 30,000 units in the last five months.
