Church to spend New Year with beau
31/12/2004 - 07:31:29Singer Charlotte Church is reluctantly snubbing her family, to spend New Year's Eve celebrating her boyfriend's 20th birthday.
Church's mother Maria wanted the soprano to see in 2005 tonight with her family at their home in Cardiff, Wales - but her beau Kyle Johnson is whisking her away for a special birthday bash.
Maria says: "Because it's Kyle's 20th, they decided to celebrate New Year elsewhere. There's a big crowd of them going.
"As well as New Year's Eve, it's Kyle's birthday the next day. I think Charlotte would rather stay in Cardiff, but they've arranged it now."
