Govt planning major upgrade of garda vehicles
30/12/2004 - 07:29:32The Government is planning a major upgrade of garda cars and motorbikes next year.
Five hundred vehicles will be replaced during the year, while more than 380 additional cars, vans and motorcycles will also be purchased.
One hundred of the new vehicles are expected to be set aside for a planned nationwide traffic corps.
