30/12/2004 - 13:23:41Paris Hilton has rocked ex-boyfriend Nick Carter's new year celebrations by insisting dating him was the biggest mistake she made in 2004.
The socialite-turned-reality TV star split from the Backstreet Boys star this past summer after a torrid romance, and she still can't believe she fell for the "a**hole".
Hilton tells Rolling Stone magazine: "I don't know what I was thinking. I met him, and I didn't really like him. He kept calling my bodyguards.
"I was like: 'I'm not going out with a Backstreet Boy.' Then I ended up thinking he was, like, nice, and I ended up liking him… but he ended up being an a**hole in the end."
