ISEQ makes modest gains
30/12/2004 - 17:43:22The ISEQ index of shares closed up 6.96 at 6211.5 today.
There were mixed fortunes for the financials amid relatively heavy trading. AIB enjoyed the biggest rise, adding 9c to €15.28, while Anglo Irish gained 5c to €17.85.
Bank of Ireland and Irish Life & Permanent were in the red however. BoI shed 3c to €12.20. Irish Life & Permanent was down 10c to €13.65.
Building materials group CRH also enjoyed a busy day, adding 17c to €19.85.
